With the help of community partners, Advance Illinois assembled and facilitated conversations with more than 120 students and caregivers across Illinois in urban, suburban, and rural communities, to understand how the pandemic has impacted their lives. The findings are compiled into a report, which reflects the testimonies and personal experiences, as well as various ways we can address resource inequity, support social-emotional and academic, create a comprehensive recovery and rebuidling plan, prioritize clarity and consistency, and make up for lost time in the classroom.
